Imagine a society where birth stories are stories of peaceful and gentle beginnings. Imagine that these stories speak of almost pleasureable intensity, of empowering and sacred journeys, of strong and proud women becoming mothers who are conscious and awake through their power, courage, strength, endurance and vulnerability…wherever they choose to give birth: in the hospital, in a birthing center, in their living room, in an operating room, or in a birth tub in their bedroom.

We offer birthing tubs for the mom that wants to experience water birth. Aside from pain reduction, water birth offers other benefits that are equally appealing. Episiotomies and tearing can be avoided, as the water softens the tissues surrounding the perineum, making them more pliable and able to stretch. And labor itself could be shortened - this is being seen over and over again as more women choose water birth. You would still be able to labor as you liked, in any position you choose, with the added benefit of some laboring positions being easier in the water. Squatting on land is a demanding stretch; in water, with gravity diminished, it comes easy and naturally.
